⦿ JUST ANNOUNCED: Will Burns and Hannah Peel to perform ‘Chalk Hill Blue’ at the Barbican ⦿

Earlier this year Rivertones, the Caught by the River audio imprint released ‘Chalk Hill Blue,’ a record by electronic artist Hannah Peel and poet Will Burns.

Inspired by the heaths of Buckinghamshire where he lives and works. Their first collaborative album ‘Chalk Hill Blue’ is also the name of an iridescent blue-grey butterfly which lives on the chalk heaths near his home. Combining these elements together, the duo showcases the consonance between nature, poetry and electronic music.

The duo recently played the record in full at a sold out Cecil Sharp house, which, left the audience entranced as the record came to life.

This coming Autumn, following a string of festival dates the duo have announced a special performance at the Milton Court Concert Hall in the Barbican Centre.
